The NBCSN Board is buzzing with excitement as we gear up to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! We can’t wait to connect with our amazing members—you are the heart of this organization, and your dedication and passion continue to push us forward. This milestone is all about YOU, and we’re looking forward to celebrating together in Austin, TX, this June!

I also wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the incredible things happening over the past few months. We received an outstanding 204 applications from 39 states for our scholarship program! Awardees have been notified, and their enthusiasm for this opportunity to receive support in sitting for the NBCSN exam is truly inspiring.

Exciting news—our brand-new Certification Review book is heading to press and should be available by mid-May! Plus, in partnership with NASN, we’ll be offering an in-person certification review course at NASN 2025 in Austin, TX. We’ll also take time to recognize some incredible NCSNs for their achievements in advancing our profession and organization.

We are proud to share that our exam remains statistically sound, with a 70% pass rate, and our community continues to grow, with nearly 6,000 NCSNs and 600 NCSN-Es! While we have NCSNs across 50 states and internationally, 12 states are still without a liaison. If you're in one of these states and interested in stepping into this role, we’d love to hear from you!

As we celebrate 40 years of excellence, we want to thank YOU for your unwavering commitment to school nursing and for being an essential part of our NCSN family. Here’s to four decades of dedication—and many more to come! See you in Austin!
