Do You Know Who Your State Liaison Is?

Did you know that each state can have up to two NBCSN State Liaisons?

State Liaisons help strengthen the connection between NBCSN and nationally certified school nurses across the country. They serve as ambassadors for national certification, share information and resources, and help keep NCSNs in their states connected and engaged.

Do you know an NCSN in your state who is:

• Active in your state school nurse association?
• Well connected with other school nurses?
• A natural networker who enjoys building relationships?
• Someone who enjoys mentoring or encouraging others?
• Involved in professional development?
• Passionate about the NCSN credential?
• The person others turn to for information?
• A great communicator?
• Someone who would like to become more involved with NBCSN?

They could be a great fit for the State Liaison role! Or perhaps you are interested in getting more involved.

Help Us Strengthen Our State Liaison Network!

The NBCSN Outreach Committee is working to strengthen our State Liaison network, and we would love your help identifying enthusiastic NCSNs who can connect, support, and engage school nurses in their states.

We are especially looking for State Liaisons in the following areas:

• District of Columbia
• North Carolina
• New Hampshire
• Kentucky

Does your state have just one liaison? There's room for another!

The following states and territories currently have only one State Liaison and could benefit greatly from having a second:

Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.

A second liaison can help share the workload, expand outreach, and connect with even more school nurses across the state.
